The Directorate of Physical Planning plays a critical role in ensuring orderly and sustainable physical development across the University. Our responsibilities include campus planning, development control, building design coordination, infrastructure layout, project supervision support, and ensuring compliance with approved master plans, building regulations, and environmental standards.

We are committed to promoting excellence in physical infrastructure planning, sustainable development, and environmental aesthetics. Our operations are guided by best practices in urban and regional planning, with a strong focus on safety, functionality, accessibility, and long-term institutional growth.

In addition, the Directorate works closely with contractors, consultants, government agencies, and internal stakeholders to ensure that all physical development projects align with the University’s strategic vision and infrastructure requirements. We also monitor ongoing projects to ensure quality assurance and adherence to approved specifications.
